I have a sweet, sweet yellow-sided GCC named Cache. He came to me from a nice home, and never has any bird in my life been so eager to step up and be with humans - any human at all will do! However he is very very skittish. The slightest thing will startle him, and I kid you not, he throws himself backward and hits the floor. He is about 2 years old and I am his second owner after the pet store. His owners were told to "trim his wings every 6 weeks" and they did. He was clipped when they got him, I doubt he has ever been flighted. He is molting right now, and it is my hope that we can work on flying, and with the ability to fly will come more confidence, but all of that is background info for my question.

I am a big believer in the Aviator Harness. I have one bird who wears it now, one in training, and I hope to train all my pets to wear one (no the dog - he just wears a collar ;) ). However I was thinking about Thundershirts for dogs, and I know Flight Suits are light weight, but I am wondering if using one of those for Cache might be a better idea? He is a very snuggly bird, especially when he has just been frightened, and I am wondering if the cloth covering more of his body might help him? What do you all think?
