Weird parakeet behavior

Hi eveyone, my birds are good still, but lately I noticed weird behavior from my budgie, Whiskey, we bought them a little house and they like eating it which is y'know normal parrot activities, but today I noticed he is spending a lot of time in the house there's no eggs (I checked and I know how big of a risk it is) he looks like he would be laying on eggs if eggs were there, is it because it's the spring summer?

The house ( any small, dark space, actually) is triggering hormonal behavior. It’s generally not recommended for birds to have houses/ huts unless you want them to nest and have babies. My budgies don’t have any kind of house and are perfectly happy . You will see more hormonal behaviors in the spring through late summer as the longer days indicate to the birds that it’s breeding season.
