Hey, I don’t know if this is a serious concern but one of my conure’s cheeks has turned orange! I don’t know if this is from maturing or something because my conure is only a year old. I know this isn’t something inside his feathers because I gave him a bath and his cheek is still orange, I have a video of me showing the orange cheek, feel free to pause the video if needed to observe his cheek.

Thanks a ton!

Commenting to bump your thread back up to the top. I’m sure a conure person will happen along soon.

Completely normal, adult coloring for a Yellow-Sided Green Cheek coming-in. It's going to happen on both sides of his head/face in that spot right underneath his ears and behind his eyes, and it's going to gradually get darker and darker, until he's got a very large, dark red to almost rust-colored spot there on both sides. I don't currently have a photo of my male Yelllow-Sided Green Cheek with me right now to upload for you, but he just turned 2 years-old and he's had these spots for a good 6 months or more now, and they are very, very pronounced. So your guy is just starting to get them now at a year old. Perfectly normal, nothing to worry about.

If you Google-Image search "Adult Yellow-Sided Green Cheek" you'll be able to see what they're going to look like in the next 6 months to a year.
