Hi
Once or twice a day, when I have my birdie girl out of her cage, she will get on my shoulder and then start walking around my head quite snuggly and make strange gurgling/tooting noices, I think she might also flick her wings little, and she walks over my chest and places herself upside down there on my chest. She can do a full round like this and it starts to smell like honey/perfume.
She does this when she seems a bit on the feisty side. Often it is followed by nibbling a bit to hard on ear/face/hands.
Sometimes she just ends it by sitting very tight with her body against the side of my head.
I don't really like it cos it makes me nervous and I feel I need to divert her quickly before she gets to "intense".
Any idea what this is?? Is it some kind of dominance thing? Bonding thing? I'll try to record it next time but honestly I avoid moving to much when she does it.
