So ive got a baby blue front here 12 weeks old i have weaned birds before but this girl has me a bit worried when i bought her i was told she is down to 1 feed a day and doesnt really need it i have the same brand of pellets she was supposedly eating here wich is what im mainly having problems with she eats vegetables and fruit no problems but she needs something more sustainable for while im at work ive tried soaking them in water mixing with seed and slowly reducing the seed she just really doesnt seem interested in them .... im wondering if i should start from scratch and lay some out on the cage floor to pick at ... or if anyone else has any good ideas?... also when i get home from work and give the hand feed that she absolutely mauls me for because she has obviously been getting a bit hungry... Yea after that and i can feel her belly is full she still continues with the baby "feed me" head bobbing and noises like she is hungry.... is this normal for amazons?

Well, i was going to respond but checked out the link and it's my response, LOL. I would also suggest spoon feeding, it really helps with the weaning in older babies. let me know if you still have questions. PS get the scales and start weighing.

LOL Isn't that funny Richard, I feel that way sometimes with eclectus advise!:p Tail chasing and repeating a lot of the same info.
