Jasper- bare eyed cockatoo
I got both the Aviator and the flight suit for Jasper. He has chosen his preference. Flightsuit wins. So much less of a fight to get it on him and he seems less bothered by it. I'm surprised as I thought the Aviator would come out on top.

So now I need to figure out what to do with the Aviator. Hmmmm. Maybe I'll keep it and see if he changes his mind once his wing clip grows out.

Here is a pic of my little man in his flightsuit watching an airplane:)

Maybe it would be best to keep it and see if he changes/his needs change?? And could be a possible back up? Somehow I think of these 'emergency' situations where my bird will need to be harnessed, LOL. I think I imagine the emergencies but hey, it doesn't hurt to be prepared. :)
What is cool about him liking the flight suit is that there are so many adorable designs!!!

Ya. I'll hang onto it for backup. I may need to get a couple more flightsuits just because of the cuteness factor. Lol

You could always get another bird for the Aviator:)

Where did you get it? I want to try both for my galah...I like the Aviator a lot from what I've heard, but it would be good to have a flight suit too for those times I need to take her somewhere that she shouldn't be pooping. :p

I use both, together. The flight suit is my diaper so my bird doesn't potty in classrooms (educational programs), and the aviator is my harness.

The leash that goes to the flight suit is completely useless. The raven can remove it in about thirty seconds, and even my Quaker can get it off in under a minute after about eight months of wearing it.

Glad you liked the Flight suite !! I love them and so do both of my little guys. i agree they are alot easyer to get in and out of LOl ... good luck and Happy outings !

You can get the Flight Suite from flightquarters.com Get the diapers that go with it or you can just go to the store and get thin pantie lines for teens they fit right in there too !!! that is what i use now sence its way cheaper and local. If anyone has a plucker .... I got Sophie the snuggie on there site when she was sick and feeling cold and pulling her feathers. SHE loves it !!! going in the car and to the vet she will wear it and keeps her warm and snuggled she fealt safe and happy. If your bird likes to wear things or wrap up in blankets ( sophie does ) this maybe good idea !

Terry57. What a brilliant idea! I'll see if that argument works with the hubsters. Lol

If that doesn't work, I have several other things I have used that did work with my hubby:)

I cant get drogos (eclectus) flight suit on him... :( I may have gotten the wrong size, but the aviator is easy to get on and off him.... im really sad about it because i wanted him in a diaper and i wanted to have a detachable leash so that i could put him in his carrier without worrying about him hurting himself with the leash... i hate how the aviators leash isnt detachable.

I sometimes just roll up the car windows and put the aviator on in a hurry. I have left it on in the carrier for like five minutes if I am not the driver and can watch him. My birds flight suit didn't fit right either and he didn't like it.
