Washing a Cage: Hosing Down With Water cool?

Concerning why I was writing this,

I generally try to wash the cage/clean it once a week. I don't always use things like Clorox Wet Wipes, but I've used them to wipe down the cage - but generally, I simply take their cage out and hose it down with water intensely and then wipe it down/dry it off. I also get rid of any excess debris and it seems rather effective. If anyone has any thoughts on the issue, I'd love to hear.

On my cage (she's rarely in it) I wash the tray every day. But her cage only of there's poop on anything which isn't very frequent. She's a really low mess bird. Yoir once a week sounds about right. The cage bottom could be more, or change paper daily if possible. I don't use paper.

The cage of Harry and Toon is cleaned every day.
Also the cage of Bob
New sand on the bottom and the bars to be cleaned.
Also the food and beverage cans, the sticks and the toys.
Once a week, hosed with a high-pressure cleaners.
I never use a cleaning product.
Twice a month a disinfectant specially intended for animal cages.

I clean Nigel's cage every day. The trays are washed and cleaned as are the bowls. I spot clean any other debris as well daily. The cage stays clean but once a month I wash it out in the sunlight, really scrub it down with a brush (toys included) but don't use anything more than a vinegar solution if necessary.
