Warm mist humidifier

My house is very dry and was thinking of purchasing a warm moisture humidifier so that it's not so dry for my green cheek but wasn't sure if they are safe or not. They heat the water so the heating element is what made me second guess it...Anyone have any info on this?

There was an article I read not too long ago about it, since I was looking into it myself, but NONE of the Vicks brand are safe, due to their heating element.

This seems to be a pretty good resource.

The cool mist ones are safer, provided you sanitize it regularly. The Crane ones are relatively inexpensive, though they're only a 1 gallon.

Thanks Aquila! This is the one I was looking at. Honeywell Filter Free Warm Moisture Humidifier | Staples® I don't want to get it until I'm 100% sure it's safe. I tried searching the internet for answers but can't seem to find anything
