Thanks, she really is a beautiful bird. I am not a fan of clipping but honestly I have no real choice. I have 5 small children and its getting to be summer time. They constantly run in and out and sometimes they forget to shut the door. So I could have left her wings alone, but she would have had to stay in her cage constantly. So my personal opinion is in order to keep her happy and not let her be cooped up in a cage all the time clipping her wings was the only real option I had. I feel horrible about taking away her natural ability to fly. But until my children are older and possibly out of the house it has to be this way. And it really doesnt seem to bother her. She knows that Mommy will take her where ever she wants to go. But at the same time I'm also very understanding of why someone would disagree with clipping her. I just did what I thought was best for her for now.
