Wanted to say hello

I just signed up and wanted to say hello. My name is Chris and I'm from Arkansas just outside of Memphis, TN. I've had birds of some sort for most of my life with the majority of them being parakeets when I was young. My first one was named Rocky and being little I stuck with the theme...Rocky 2, Rocky 3, Roc....well, I'm sure you get the picture! Anyways, our Cockateal Puddin' (named by our children who had a fetish for food names) passed away about 6 months ago and the house has just been too quiet so it's time to invite another member of the family into our home. After MUCH searching and question asking we have finally decided on a beautiful just weaned Timneh African Grey who the kids have named Cody. He will get to our house on the 21st and we just can't wait! Anyways, I'll shut up now.
