Waking up the professor

Such an odd way and place to fall asleep! One of my birds was responding to your birds noises, as I watched the video. They love watching bird videos.

Does your bird sometimes go to sleep like that? Does your bird sleep in a "hut" in the cage?

I have bought him a happy hut, but it hasn't yet arrived in the mail.

Let me know if he likes that. I wish I could find one for my Umbrella Cockatoo....I tried a cat bed thing (a hut that doesnt hang) but he didnt use it.

When he is out of the cage he sleeps "lying down" on my lap, on the couch, etc. so I thought he might like that option in his cage. In his cage he wraps a blanket around himself (it hangs from the top).

My Quaker loves the Hut but my other two don't.

Anyhow, I was curious because how your bird was sleeping out of the cage...on top of the dresser (?)

If he sleeps out of the cage with me, he sticks hes head into my shirt and goes off to sleep, and then he talks in his sleep. If he is in the cage he sleep normally, standing on the highest perch he can find.
