1 Rosie Bourke Parakeet- Birkenstock (Birkie)
Waker is my newest budgie. I have had her for 3 days. My other 2 I have had for several months and while one of them (Whimsy) is becoming use to my hand the other (Owl) still freaks out every time I put my hand anywhere near his cage. (He likes to snuggle with my foot though?) I practice with them 2-3 times a day.
Today I put my hand in Wakers cage for maybe the 3rd or 4th time ever and she let me pick her up and bring her out! Then we went and sat on the couch and she ate spray millet from my other hand while we watched tv!!
Waker is about a year old and my other two budgies are about 4 months.
