to make a simple cheap toy for Perjo.

I took the left over paper towel cardboard and just stuffed it with 3 different colors of tissue paper, and Perjo seems to enjoy playing around with it. But I'm not seeing much of the tissue paper or cardboard left on the ground as she tears it up. I only let her have it when I'm in the room and watching her. I'm a little worried she isn't spitting all of it out.

She's really good about tearing up shredding toys I've bought her and not ingesting any of them.

The obvious thing to do here is not let her have this type of stuff, but I swear I read or was told these items were generally ok and parrots do not ingest them.

Oh and BTW, which emoticon is the CAG emoticon?

If you fear she's ingesting the tissue paper, I'd recommend you not use them. Use cardboard instead, or wrapping paper. Again, if you feel she's eating it, don't use it. Every bird is different. Some will shred, turn everything into confetti (or smaller), while others WILL taste/eat undesirable things.

Here's your AG emoticon (there are plenty if you do a Google Image Search):
