Veggie Straws????

Has anyone seen the Veggie Straws in the snack aisle? Since they are made from veggies, are they ok for my goffins cockatoo?

I've tasted those veggie straws, and without having looked on the ingredients I could disqualify them right off the bat for being waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too salty!

BTW remember as you look down the list of ingredients on anything you buy, it is listed in order of quantity in the item.

I bet it wouldn't be to hard coming up with a simple veggie style cracker! Even if you are handy capped as far as cooking goes, use baby food mush! Nice low and slow oven.

Veggie chips and straws are just as bad as regular chips. In all reality, a potato is a vegetable too.

They’re probably too salty for small parrots but at least you can have them as a snack, I don’t get how the other people are saying it’s too salty for themselves, I think they have the just right amount of salt.
