Here is a post that came to my e mail I am sharing with you: This is from a rescue person living near the Chesapeake Bay in Md.

Hello everybody!

We currently have about 30 cockatiels in house looking for homes at The Bailey Foundation. Do any of you have a place in your home or hearts for some of these sweet little birds? I myself just got three new cages donated, so cages are not an issue if you want one or two. Please contact me if you can help these feathered angels to get into homes of their own. [email protected]

Thanks so much,
Jan Baker

Thanks Antionette. I may take in one after I move as a foster. I really do not know much about tiels though. It will be an apartment and I know they can be a bit on the noisy side. Hope not though.

You know our only child FIDS. If I were a bird I would want all the love and food and toys my guardian could give me. Would I share? I hope I would.

That's true, my boys do tend to get noisy. They are easy to calm down, though. And when they do get noisy, it's usually just singing (not screaming at the top of their lungs, like a cockatoo). I don't mind singing, it's better than screaming. :D

Gosh, I wish they were over here. I seriously would have considered rehoming one o their cockatiels.

Where are you? Sorry if I should know already but I am not often on thread.
