Updates on Lincoln!

Sorry I've been gone. Life has been absolutely hectic.

Not too much has changed with Lincoln, but something big is happening! He's molting! I'm so excited, he's even growing in feathers on places I thought they wouldn't grow back on. I'm so happy.

The first one is kind of hard to see but there are definitely green feathers growing in. I'll see if I can get a better picture later.

Lincoln has almost full chest coverage and his tail feathers have grown in! I gave him a bath today and it really really brought out the new feathers. He looks gorgeous! I have some pictures but they won't upload for some reason so I'll get those up soon hopefully!

I just saw my first male ekie in person a week or so ago. Pictures do not do this parrot any justice. Prior to that I was like Meeehhh a green parrot , with black beebee eyes, like a dolls eyes ( to quote Quint ,from Jaws). How wrong I was, in person they are a resplendent radiant green and the eyes are not all black.

You are doing a great job with Lincoln, give him a treat from me, and have a beer yourself. Bravo !
