Well, its been a while since i posted something on him. Here is some things i can remember that happened since his improvement.

He got a new cage, as all have seen, and has been an absolute doll! He has perfected to kissing me, my sister and my mom. The words and phrases, oh my goodness lets not start with that, i can make out some things he says and some words he said before he doesnt and have learned some other phrases. Lives upto his name, an ekkie, loooovves to eat, and he loves his weetbix and honey, and if he could he would eat everything he sees us munching on.

Simply loves car rides and going to the shops, he came along the other day, poor thing to almost every place we had to go, didnt even get grumpy. Pooped when i asked him to, and ate some lunch with us, hmm the restaurant didnt bother to chase us away, he played with the serviettes, spoons, sugar thingies, everything.

I have some pics of his hatchday, will post that soon, but thought of just giving a short update on the fid for a change, altough... i love posting pics:D.

Wow!How nice to be able to take your fid out with you!:)
He is a very handsome little guy and a very good character!:)
I can tell you that I became interested in Eclectus parrots after reading your posts and I would love some day to get one!Are they expensive?I have no idea about their price..
The other day I was looking on general staff about them, really nice birds!:D

I can't wait to see his pics!!!!!!:D
Don't keep us waiting!:D

Whoooooo pics of Kodie coming up......................

I'm waiting.................. :D

I'm glad he had a lovely time out with you,

and ate some lunch with us, hmm the restaurant didnt bother to chase us away, he played with the serviettes, spoons, sugar thingies, everything.
They were probably too interested in watching him have fun, to worry about chasing you away. :D :D

Yeah, he really is a cutie. I was a bit sceptic on taking a bird that i havent interacted with much, since i only saw him once, and after that wanted one, and the breeder said that his the only male at the moment and i just really wanted one. She said that she can see so much pet potential in this bird ( she actually just breeds for breeding pairs), so i thought hey, why not give it a go.

And if you guys have read my posts, i too had some concerns, and thought he is different and so on, but after much help from my breeder and especially the new cage, he is such a sweet boy. Loves to go everywhere, his showers, food, and his momma!:D

I must say however to people who are interested, they are not cuddly birds, he loves his 'headrubs' not ruffling the feathers, just patting the direction it grows, and since it is a bigger parrot, they can get some grumpy days, not that it helps for him:D, i just swoop him up, give him a kiss, and put him back no problem.

One other thing i am very happy about, he has never bitten me, he has tried sometimes to challenge me, but with no luck. Much training and patience and love, he overcame having the need to nip. I'm really happy that i stumbled across this boy.:jumping40
