Jasper turned 11 weeks old on Thursday and this little cheeky guy has effectively filled my heart (with Korra's generous help, that is). He is still working on trying new foods, while still enjoying his baby food. I feel bad because he is trying so bad to fledge, but can't even get one foot off the ground yet. 
He is SO SWEET to everyone, the lunging was definitely just a phase. I took him to an event with 150-200 people and he was sweet to everyone! He allowed pets from everyone who wanted to give them and pouted when I tried to put him up for a bit, he didn't even fuss about his diaper! Any tips on places that are generally bird friendly? I think Jasper would enjoy additional outings, but I'm trying to avoid petsmart/petco.
I had so many people begging to know where I got him (breeders in my area are all old school and you really have to know someone who knows someone to find them. ). I was extra careful to play up the negatives of macaw ownership while they were cuddling with him, and I hope that everything I mentioned got to them and they will carefully consider before perusing a baby of their own.
