Update on Baby Budgies *pictures* :)

Just wanted to update on the two budgies from Daphne and Quentins first clutch. Just took some pictures today and thought I would share. They are about four and a half weeks old now, on 5 hand feedings a day and just lovely little birds. They are so friendly, they will literally run right up your shirt to cuddle against your face and they step up as soon as they see a finger I'm thinking the one is a male clearflight pied and the other is a female opaline pied but I'm not 100% sure on that and any advice is appreciated. Unfortunately, it is hard to get good pictures of their colors at the moment because they are constantly trying to climb on my hands while I hold the camera :20:

Left one is a boy? i was thinking the right one was the boy lol. It's hard to really see the true colors in my photos though, it's just from my cell phone, the one on the left has had white around each nostril since "she" was about 10 days old so I've been thinking she was a female.

I'm really suprised about your lip rings by the way, I'd just be way too scared of one of (any of) the birdies grabbing a hold, although... you've probably experienced this already haven't you?

Most birds learn after you tell them a few times that they can't play with jewelry, our conure got me right above my piercing a couple weeks ago though. He didn't grab the ring itself, he bit me in my lip, he got me in my upper lip as well about two months ago so I don't think it's because of my jewelry.

Haha, I just realized if you look closely you can see the scars on my chin from an iguana that got ahold of me years ago, I also have a scar on the left side of my face where I got bit by a great dane when I was younger, things apparently just like to bite me in my face :52:
