Update!! For Max (the Grey)

So we filed an animal cruelty report with the humane society,they finally called us back yesterday asking for more information and told us that they would be sending agents out to the pet store! yeppie!! Although while we were waiting back for their call we stopped back in the store to ask the women if she would be willing to sell Max. She told us that she was concerned that he wouldn't rehome well because of how long he has been there. (We also found out that he is actually 25 not 20)The poor little fellow has been locked in that tiny cage for 22 years she said.So she said she would have to think about it and give us a call. All we can do now is hope and pray!

I really do hope that is works out for this Grey to get a good home. 25 is not too old to have a good home and in fact is WAY past due! The squeaky wheel gets the grease, if you all are committed to providing a home for him stop in as much as you can and call often. Make sure she doesn't forget that someone is interested in him. I can be such a royal pita...not always a bad thing!

I hear you!! We are certainly going to keep on her about him! I am hoping she will call in a few days and tells us to come pick him up! The humane society said that if they do need to remove the animals (which I think it will come to) then we won't be able to adopt him until the court cases are settled. So hopefully we will be to get him out of there before hand so he wont have to go through all that stress..
