We crack up at some the antics Buddy and Venus do. I was wondering what unique, quirky things others see their parrots doing. For example the video below show Venus "scanning". That's what call it now. She has done this from day one and you know she's relaxed when she does this. Sometimes I'll find her staring at me with her head upside down like it's broken. Cracks me up.

I'm amused at Gonzo's musings in the morning. He's started to do things in my voice, but these are in his previous owner's voice.

That video of your gonzo makes me miss my CAG so much...

Chiqui doesn't have any truly "weird" mannerisms. The grumbling she does sounds super creepy though because of her voice tone.
Loki ALWAYS poops before coming out of his cage. He comes to the front, I hold my hand out and he a) bites my hand then jumps on or b) jumps on... Then I wait with my hand inside his door and him on my hand for a couple seconds... He opens his wings and poops. EVERY SINGLE TIME.

Gonzo is pretty potty trained, thankfully. My Amazon won't poop on command but he's never pooped when he's been on me, thank god! He has huge poops!

Parkers tendency to wolf whistle at me from the shower yurts in when I'm bathing takes the cake for me

Here's a new one of Gonzo, he loves playing with cans or bottles on my desk

And what his real goal was! I love when it shakes it with his foot.

Ha ha funny! I save bottle caps for Venus, put treats and the caps in a bowl for her to root through. She shreds the caps too. She also loves spoons so each morning I leave a plastic spoon in my coffee. She takes it out and plays with it for a long time and finally destroys it.

Willow hates caps for some reason. I can't figure out why.

Since I've mostly posted videos of Gonzo, here's two of Sydney. Been working on trick training with him since he's really smart. Wish he spoke more!

Great videos, always nice to see other parrot behaviors!

My Gabby the Goffin seems to have a touch of OCD. When eating a noodle, he frequently clutches a disliked food object, such as an endamame pod or lima bean. Almost every bite is alternated with a "beaking" of the second object or his foot.
