ROFLMAO. <--literally!

I guess that's something else Macaws like to do: DROP things. But I actually keeled over when he said "uh-oh" because Niko does the EXACT same thing. Only he says the "uh-oh" much faster....and with an evil twinkle in his eye. :D

Oh..and THANK YOU for my daily dose of Salsa. :10:

These guys are terrifically smart, I'm telling ya ;)

Salsa actually says "uh-oh" in several different inflections and at several different speeds. This was just one of them. He says it after I or one of the other birds drops something as well. Usually after Salsa drops something (either from his foot or his beak) and says his "uh-oh", he'll look me in the eye sarcastically as if to say, "yeah, sure, if you're stupid enough to believe it, I dropped it accidentally", which goes well with his most sarcastic sounding "uh-oh" :red1:

And you're welcome... glad you like the clips :)

Yup, yup...that's how Niko says it, SARCASTICALLY. Evil feathered friend of mine! And when he flings something, it's as if he's TRYING to hit me in the face with it, lol. No, seriously, he does that.

And I can never get enough of Salsa. Just awesome!

Ahh there is my dose of Salsa....Thanks for that. He is a riot

Thanks for the kind words about Salsa, everyone. I'll do my best to continue posting vid clips of him. I say "I'll do my best" because it's hard to capture his best speech performances with their actions on video most of the time. But ya know, I've had him here since mid June (for exactly 3 months) and he's still surprising me with new phases I've not heard from him before. And today he was even singing to some music on TV in a way I've never heard from him. Although he's continually carrying on with all sorts of things throughout each day, as I said, it's quite difficult to capture his most amazing behaviors. One thing that really astounds me about Salsa is his ability to alter speech inflection appropriately. Sometimes I swear he's human. This bird really has some cool mental wiring going on. I guess you might say that I not only love him, but I'm as well very impressed with his intelligence and talents.

Salsa is definitely one of those guys that just stands out. It seems he has quite a following on here. Again thanks for sharing him with us
