two quick questions

my GCC loves peanuts, i assume this as its the only food he will let me feed him, however, he takes the peanut and then promptly drops it 90% of the time. I was just wondering if this is normal behavior or if he is just lazy.

Second question, is organic ground up flax seed okay for them to eat?

Yeah, my guys often drop something I've given them, even if I know they want it/love it, either immediately upon taking it, or shortly there after, about 90% of the time.

I believe it is, but I've never given it to my guys, so I can't say for certain.

I never feed peanuts. To many birds end up with Aspergillus. Better safe then sorry. IMO.
Ground flax seed is very good for our birds. Buy the kind that needs to be refrigerated or is holistic, otherwise the nutrients are not as good.
