My Conure does not have his wings clipped, so he can fly around. I do take precautions when allowing him out of the cage, however while he was flying a week ago he hit his head on a beamy thing on the ceiling, so my question is this, can a Bird get a concussion?
My second questions is more about reading into behaviour or body signs. I am beginning to understand most of his signs, but this one is new. When I put my hand into his cage and play with one of his toys (and it only happens with this specific toy), he'll run up to my hand and start I don't know angerly biting my fingers. But the when I sort of fold my fingers towards my palm, he slids up to my hand with his back facing me and press himself up against it, while sort of preening himself. Then he sort of raises his butt a bit and starts bobbing his head. When I try to stroke his feather from the top down, he bits my fingers, but then I started sort of petting his tail feather end and he didn't bit me.
I was wondering if anyone could give me a hint into his body language? I am only assuming he's a boy because that’s what his previous owner said he was.
