- Gizmo - Male Eclectus Parrot
Pebbles - Female Eclectus Parrot
A while ago I was teaching Pebbles and Gizmo to turn (it's a trick, but I also think it is good to be able to have them turn around should I or a vet need them to in the future).
I can't find the original post, but I don't think I ever showed them doing completed turns with just a verbal command.
Interestingly Pebbles is more food orientated, but she tends to take her time doing her turns sometimes (it's a bit of a sign of her stubbornness, which I love about her)
Here is Pebbles

And Gizmo

He does a bit of a scratch in between (he is moulting at the moment, so it's understandable)
Now you may wonder why the different camera angle. Well, Gizmo has a fascination with the phone, so it's often hard to film him. This video gives you an idea of what I have to deal with (eclectus parrots and their personalities )
