Pretty, pretty please tell me there's someone else out there with a Tucuman...???

My links never seem to work :-(, but this was a really informative article about the Tucuman Amazons if you wanted to copy n paste the link into your browser- Tucumán Amazon (Amazona tucumana)

I had actually never heard of this species of zons before, so I just had to look them up :). I don't think they're very common as pet birds, so you really have a special little bird there. Normal amazon care/dietary guidelines should still apply to her, even if she isn't a common species. I hope Jackie is settling in well, and wish you the best of luck! Zons are great parrots

Thanks kiwibird :) I found some other articles online and even one about their conservation efforts.

Jackie is doing pretty well... I've been leaving her door open these last few days but she hasn't come out... Yet. Lol

Wow she looks great. That is definitely a cooler weather bird. They normally live at altitudes around 5000 feet of higher, where it is cooler and only come below 1500 feet in the winter times.
