Please note: We clean my U2's cage almost daily before you comment that we need to clean more frequently. My cockatoo Tiki seems to have a fixation with picking up dried poo whenever he finds it, regardless of which bird it comes from. He'll even try to force his way into my conure's cage to pry it off the papers. We have also caught him picking it up and carrying it around from the stool in front of his cage where he's known to go potty. Tiki is potty trained. What can we do to discourage this behavior, because he gets aggressive whenever he finds 'poo' to pick

Has Tiki been checked by a vet and completed a blood chemistry profile? Some claim eating poo is a symptom of a dietary deficiency, but it may also just be a learned bad habit.
