Scout's morning routine is to accompany me while I feed and water all the inside birds, and sample everyone's food, eat out of the big bowl, and in general be a little boy. He often hovers over my head as I walk, uses my hair as a slide to slide down my face and into whatever I am working on, etc. Well today he was trying to bathe in every water dish - while I was walking! I have tried many times and many ways to get him to take a bath, with no luck. Well today, he wanted one! So, after forcibly removing him from Sully and Acu's water dish so that THEY could have it, I grabbed a dish for him and put him on the table. He was glad I finally took the hint!

That is awesome!!!! Since his bath has he tried to bath in his water bowl???

Aww that is so cute! My cousins get bit and birdy punched when she tries to give her IRN baths! Glad it was easy for you this time!

he has not before this. All of my GCCs can fit in their water bowls, and Blue uses hers as well when she wants a bath, but Scout has not ever before, and he also rejected sink baths/showers and showering with me. I guess he will just let me know when it is time!

Is the video working for you guys? It isn't playing for me now.

It did for me and actually was a first for me thru Photo Bucket. I'm on an IPad.

I am new to photobucket and I uploaded it through my phone (also new to smartphones).

Oh SiverSage, that is one beautiful bird! Seems like scout was testing the water first hehehe. The video played fine for me, took it a second to load.
Thanks :)

Thanks :) I think he is lovely. I can't wait to see how his color developers with his first molt!

Adorable! He is definitely enjoying that. I'm curious though, did the crackers survive his bath? lol I have to clear everything in a couple foot radius when PB bathes. :)

His feathers look so pretty already! Really can't wait to see him molt too!

The crackers were carried off one by one and dropped in various places throughout the day - he has just learned he can fly away with things, and is taking it to the extreme. He was dropping them where Blue could get them though, which was cute!

Yes, I think he is stunning the way he is but the turquoise coloring should come out more when he molts :)
