true personality?

Hmmm. Well do you mean as a baby or a rehome?

Both my green cheeks were bought as babies and their true personalities haven't formed until about 6 months ago and I've had them for almost 4 years now (and wow I didn't realize this until I looked it up...). I guess you could say their true personalities come out a couple times before but they have grown and changed through the years just like people really. I'm sure in a year or so I'll think their 'true' selfs are different again:D Though at the core they are brats and thats all there is to it:p

I have to say they felt comfortable enough to come out of their shell so to speak after a week or so. My sun conure was comfortable being a weirdo from day one.;)

yeah my jenday is very wierd also lol I meant aadults just some birds keep suprising me with these new personality traits they start doing things you would never expect them to do.

If you have a rehome that suffered neglect or abuse it could be months til they settle and trust is enough that they really open up.... and then you have personality shifts thru the seasons, right now my super sweet and loving bare eyed too is a royal brat and little beaky... with days getting longer, hormones kick in and bring out the beast in the girls!!! Ask me again in a month and I will tell you what an angel she is.... :)
