Tribute to my oldest Friend

Last Friday, Prince our family's cockatiel passed away. i was abroad and my mom only told me the day before yesterday once i got back. i went up to my 3 other birds and sobbed for the whole night. He was my oldest friend, had him for close to 22 years (and I'm 24). what hurt the most, is that i did not have time to say good by to him. my mum buried him in a rose pot and this rose is already blooming, three white roses already :') i miss him so much.. i will never part with that plant for sure, and will take it to my place once i get one in the future :/ i am heartbroken still :/

I'm so sorry for your loss of Prince . As painful as it is, we don't always get to say a proper goodbye unfortunately, though e rose pot is sweet, and something you can always take with you as you say. He must have known how much you loved him all those years.
