Ive tried my 2 GCC with lots of different fruits and veggies and have found some they really love. Its been suggested to me that they love really hot chillis, is this right?? Also can anyone give me some ideas of things their birds enjoy as treats. I want they to have a certain amount of variety.

My birds love pistachios all types of fruit and veggies, although sometimes you have to keep offering certain fruits and veggies to get them to like and accept them. Eggs is moderation is a great treat. The list is really endless these are just a few my guys like. I can list the fruits and veggies if you'd like:p.

Mine seem to only like the things they can pick up.They wont eat anything squishy or juicy and actually scream with disgust at me if i give them anything in their treat bowl they cant ram into their mouths immediately. A friend of mine has suggested scotch bonnets??

Pete, my 'teel' loved them. My friends African Grays won't touch them + my Jenday Conure, BOB, throws them out of his dish. Go figure. You'll find the right treat. BOB will play ball 24/7, especially if it has a "clacker" (a bell sounding something)in it.

12 grain toasted bread about 1" square, spread w/Brummel and Brown all natural vegetable spread with 10% yogurt found in the butter department, hard boiled eggs w/shell (more calcium), yogurt, + avoid sweet snacky cereals as your babes can become diabetic, and salty snacks as it settles in their livers, avocado, onion, + garlic toxic too. As I think of stuff, I'll try to post. Millet spray, some birds like them and others do not. You never know.

Hmmm...
-Bell pepper
-Strawberries (my fids' favorite!)
-Blueberries
-Rasberries
-Papaya
-Little bites of peanut butter
-NutriBerries
-bananas
-Apple
-Pomegranate
-Carrot (My fids only eat shredded carrot)
-Walnuts,non salted
-Pistachios, non salted
-Almonds,non salted
-Cranberries
-Peanuts,non salted
-Plain pasta (whole grain is best)
-Cantoulope
-Watermelon (The seeds are fine)
