Training Troubles

I am trying to train Iago to do some simple tricks and everything was going well until a little while ago. I only bring out the clicker and slivered almonds when it's training time and now whenever he sees either one of these he waves continuously. It's gotten to the point where he just waves and waves and I can't even ask him to do tricks or teach him anything.

Has anyone else had this issue? How can I deter him from continuously waving?
