Tough love for Willow

When I went to the MET for my birthday I knew she was going to have to give up her small afternoon feeding, of course she did fine even though I stressed over it :54:.
I have decided that she will get her morning 30cc until this Friday and then after that only her night feeding for two to three weeks after and then I am weaning her. This is bordering on the ridiculous. She shows NO signs of wanting to turn away and is milking the mommy feed me while eating very well on her own I might add. Up to now I have rationalized this by remembering that she is not yet to the point that Jolly was, after all that green stinker boy had me feeding him until he was just over 7 months old although it was just the small comfort night feeding.

If you are about to feel sorry for the little darling please keep in mind she was 19 weeks yesterday and still has 2 to three weeks before I plan to wean her completely.

Anyway other than that she is really doing well, she flies unbelievably well, is into everything and keeps me on my toes. Her favorite thing is hanging out with me while I give her head scritches until my fingers are numb.:p

Here she is with her hoard of toys...of course she stops playing and does the pose when the camera is out.

Oooooh, I love Willow photos! She's such a beautiful baby bird. Please Mommy, I'm not old enough to be weaned.

She's so smart, I understand why you're reluctant to tell her no.

Stunning photos of your gorgeous silver girl!! :D Absolutely LOOOVE her assortment of educational toys! Willow is one lucky birdy girl. And I promise, she will NOT starve herself. :54:

She's playing you just like a fiddle ;)

Look at all those toys! No wonder Willow doesn't want to wean (can you spoiled:D). She's looking gorgeous too. Curious how she's doing with the swizzle sticks and puzzles? Are you having any luck teaching her?

No at this point she just tosses them around. They are heavier than what I anticipated though. The only thing she has gotten down is right before she poops she says this cute little "poop poop" and then it's bombs away.:p

Willow is beautiful, Laura! And yes, she does indeed seem to be milking that baby cuteness factor for all that it's worth.

And I love the toy selection! She's a lucky girl!

I am dying laughing here. I can just imagine how funny that must be to have her declare her 'intentions' before going poo:p What a funny girl!

It is actually nice because I can usually move her off me or catch it with a Klennex before the deed if I move fast.:D I have been trying to get it on video but she sees my phone as competition to my attention and wants to bang on the screen when I have it near her.

Willow is so spoiled!! Love the pictures and the heads up when she has to go...too funny!
