No nothing at all...the storm passed very quickly... just pitch black here... no power... I was more scared for my babies.... I can only grab so many to save if it were to touch down here.... we were ready to hide in the bathroom.... :/

I pray no one ever has to go through that again, it must be absolutely frightening.
Glad it passed, and everyone is okay.

I'm glad you're safe! Tornado sirens are always scary.

Ant, it's something we deal with every spring and summer. It's worse in Oklahoma and Kansas. We've got to update our family storm plan. Last year Max couldn't fly and he was easy to get into the laundry room.

That's what I like of living in Quebec City. There's just NOTHING scary weather wise happening here. We had a tornado once but they're a super rare, weak event so there's no sirens. The worst thing it did was to throw a newly bought unattached shed into a pool.

The worst we get are snowstorms and I looove snow so I approve of them.

We don't get things of that magnitude here at all....

People always say "The UK is always cold and rainy!" Us included lol, but rather that than worry about Mother Nature and her wrath!

I am so very glad everyone is ok. The devestating earthquakes in New Zealand this week remind us how fortunate we are.

Im just scared for my birds cause I can't fit all of us in the bathroom.....it would be us, 3 dogs and 2 cats. Plus my macaw.... :/

I always loved storms......until I became a parront, and a homeowner.

Oh yeah, and there was also the time a tornado ran over the top of my truck while delivering pizzas. That might have had something to do with it too.

I had the sirens last night also! (im in al) And I was so sad for my little Petunia, she was on my shouler when it happened and she started shaking and got very fidgity. I felt so bad because she has only been with us for a few days! Glad your ok!
