Buttons Toy:
Some oversized buttons I got for a dollar strung tightly on coathanger wire with plastic beads.

Rolly Toy:
A child's toy I got from ebay (2 for $6). Drilled holes, stuck a stainless steel skewer (6 for a dollar, also from ebay) through and made loops to hang it by.

Plastic Swing Toy:
Rope from an old toy with plastic cotton reels ($2) and plastic puzzle pieces from a toddler toy (Op Shop 50c).

Tongue Uplifting Toy:
Tongue depressors from ebay ($2) dyed with food colouring and strung on poly rope with cotton reels ($2)

Wow Trish. Those toys are awesome. I am sure your Beaks and Dom will love them.

Do you have any problems with the Beaks and plastic? Bundii just chews/breaks/snaps pieces off and I am scared she will swallow them.

Bundii, when I first joined, someone said that plastic is fine for birds. They know it's not food and don't swallow it. So, I've always given the Beaks plastic things to play with and so far, so good. They like to snap up plastic forks and spoons. They love plastic bottletops. Most of all, they really enjoy soft baby toys (the sort you get on activity gyms). Mind you, none of the above is a substitute for good, honest wood! LOL! You should see all my doors and windows!
