*Sigh* Parsley was a very bad bird today.....I just caught him peeling some wallpaper off my dining room wall!:eek::eek:

Maybe it was my fault for having his cage too close to the wall...but still...he should have known better...right? ;)

At least he knows how to say "Bad Bird"....lol :D

I don't have wallpaper, but Auggie does eat the doors, and has starting peeling apart the door frame in his room.

There's no way I'm getting my security deposit back.

Haha,
I never had any chewing problems with my Lovebird...
I don't have wallpaper either... though.
He shouldn't have done it of course, but what does he know; from his eyes it's entertaining - I guess he was bored.

LOL....Auggie'sDad!

It took me a few seconds to realize what you meant!

One of the times I was scolding Parsley by saying "Bad Bird" he replied..."Bite Me". I think that was just a coincidence but it was kind of weird to hear.

Maybe I will have to make him go stand in a corner.....no wait....baad idea...he would chew the corner! :p

Just read this and I thought of my Alexandrine. Two days ago I was warming up her veggies and she was on top of the cage. My husband put the cage to close to the wooded blinds and in a matter of seconds before I could say..noooooo she pretty much put her beak to it.....I think I might just leave that window with no blinds!

Lol they will chew anything they can get near.
I had a picture of a parrot on the wall near Mishka's cage.
When cleaning the cage I move it closer to the wall Oops big mistake
Went to get some newspaper, when returning she had the picture in her cage.
Needless to say not much was left of it.
I GUESS I SHOULD HAVE GOT THE MESSAGE
SHE DOES NOT WANT A MATE
Take care

It's amazing that we are smarter than birds, but sometimes I feel as though I am constantly trying to outwit them. My Hyacinth, Talara, loves her wood toys and her toy box. However, if she could chew all the wood in my new kitchen, she would and with gusto. They live in the moment; looks good, think I'll chew it.:blue:

My macaw ripped off my floor molding....... just get some bitter spray thats safe for parrots and spray on stuff that's supposed to be no chew.....
