The Rickeybird, 40-year-old Patagonian Conure
I have decided to give away the amazing clear plastic foraging toy which Wrench and Salty gave us. Dear ol' Rb really isn't getting the good out of it. He can't figure out how to get treats out, and mostly just winds up freaking out in frustration, or avoiding it. My little psittacine Zoolander. I have an idea that it could be enjoyed a lot more fully by a more --- ummmm --- *intellectual* bird. And I bet it cost a pretty penny, so it should be appreciated fully. I had originally thought to do first-come-first-receive, but to be fair to all time-zones, circumstances, etc... if there is/are more than one interested, I'll put names on ballots and see if I can get the Rb to pick one. Deadline... next Monday the 12th, whenever I get up in the morning! If you're far away (especially outside the U.S.) I'd appreciate help with postage.

Just send me a private message if interested.

Here's the toy. It's a marvelous toy meant to hang, and to offer a great challenge to a clever parrot.
I'll ship it clean, but by all means sterilize it when you get it. Ya never know.

Our DYH Amazon gets a two thumbs-up as a intellectual high-hat! That said, he as come to a point that with the exception of the odd Foraging Toys that can be physically smashed by dropping from on-high. Our Snob just has no time for them as a group!

Looks like an interesting Toy!

Well, my little Zoolander is on the other side of the high-hat bell curve!!!!!!! A couple of standard deviations below the mean, I betcha.

It *IS* a great toy. Hey, *I* liked playing with it, but... I'll give it up.
I'm big like that!

Honestly, I think this is more for a African grey, a bird that will study it and figure it out, provided it has the right treat in it. Lot of grey owners on here, here is a Chance to stimulate yours!

Nexxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxt time, Marileen!

Many thanks to Gail and Wrench for passing on the toy. Wrangler will be the beneficiary once I figure out how to use it! You forgot to post that the parront also needs to be a brainiac! I'd better hurry and get on it, he's shredded half his seagrass matt in just 2 days. Again, many thanks for starting up a wonderful concept!

Janet and Wrangler
