Well dang! The breeding pair near my house are much nicer. However, they do like to keep an eye on my chickens just in case one escapes the coop.

Why must the nest and babies be removed, though? Surely the residents understand the privilege of having such spectacular neighbours for a season? They should do what Australians do in Magpie season: put a plastic box on their heads with big googly eyes drawn on to deter the birds. Once the babies fly, the parents won't be aggro any more.
