I'm thinking of getting an African Gray Timneh possibly soon from a breeder who I know very well. They are very kind and know they will give me a fantastic baby c:

I'd like some help on finding a good cage, though. I'd like a cage that can fit a decent amount of perches and toys for days when I'm extra busy but also a cage that isn't too expensive. If it has a playstand on top, that would be a bonus lol If not I can make one out of PVC c:

Anyone know any good cages?
I found this one:
Roswell Victorian Bird Cage - Bird Cages at Bird Cages
Any opinions?

Also, not cage-related but is vynil/linoleum floor sheet okay to put under a bird cage? Would it be bad if it tried to chew on it? Also, what size harness would a Timneh wear? c: Thanks!

I just bought this one and it looks very similar to the one you found except for the open top. The top of this one is square so you could make a playtop to put on top and its a hundred bucks cheaper and around the same size.

Bird Cages: Prevue Square Roof Parrot Cage

Have you received the cage yet? I'd like to know how it is, quality-wise c:

I also found this cage:
A and E Medium Elegant Bird Cage - PetSupplies.com

I haven't recieved it yet, but I will definitely post about it when I do. The reviews looked good but you cannot always trust reviews on the sellers site.

*My* opinion, and it's just that, just from the picture it looks small. Jasper's cage interior dimensions are like 22 deep, 31 width, 40 height and I'm not sure I'd be totally happy leaving him in there all day if I were working. There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of room inside for too many toys. It does have the bonus of having a playtop so for right now it's ok. Timneh's are smaller but I'm not sure if they are that much smaller. If your baby is going to be in the cage for large periods of time you might want to think about a different cage or the possibility of upgrading once the baby is confident about moving around the cage.
