Right now Im in the process of purchasing a CAG but Im still doing my research. Currently I live with my family so there is usually always someone home but when everyone is gone, I want to insure the best possible time for my bird. I plan on a nice large cage, lots of toys as well as foraging devices but is there anything else I can do to keep my bird busy and occupied?

What does everyone usually do with their birds when they leave for work/school/errands?

When I am at work I always make sure foraging toys are full and I always leave the tv or radio on for her, she always seems happy when I get home :) congratulations on getting a new bird

I bought another CAG to solve this problem. Hopefully such a companion helps for boredom.

Yes, that's what I said at first too:) "One is more that enough". Well, perrontism is a progressive and incurable illness. So one morning I woke up and got another CAG. LOL

Anyways living the radio or a tv turned on is a good idea I think.

I haven't got a CAG yet, Im just in the planning stages now. I have been reading how easily a Grey can get bored so I want to provide the maximum amount of ability to entertain itself.

Apart from foraging toys and the TV/Radio being left on, any other suggestions? I want to steer clear from getting another CAG. Just one for me :)

I bought kabob wooden sticks and I put vegies on them. My CAG's fist eat or maybe just drop all the vegies to the floor and then also destroy the kabob stick. Foraging toys are good idea.
I also some times put some book that I didn't like and they tear it into pieces.
After all I think some times they even happy to stay alone and to take a nap.
