Parrots
Bartleby-Pearl Cockatiel
S'mores-Albino Parakeet
All of a sudden for the past few days, Bartleby's been grinding her beak. Now S'mores is mimicking her. So the both of them are grinding their beaks. Is this normal? Are vet trips needed? Any help is appreciateds :)

It can be a sound that is easily produced and copied. As long as all else is good(I e. beak not overgrown ) I wouldn't worry. You are such a good and attentive parrant!

Beak grinding is completely normally it can be done to grind down there beaks or to scratch there beak because it can get itchy and they actually like having there beak rubbed/scratched. It's all good. lol

90% of the time it is quite normal, but Diego still keep an eye on Bartleby

Mishka grinds his beak after he has eaten, LoL maybe that's his burp oops
When in his night cage, the moment he is "seated" he begins to grind his beak
I know Mishka is happy and content when grinding his beak

Beak grinding is normal my two cockatiels have done it since the day I brought them home.
