She has been in rare form today, into everything. The point I got hysterical was when I heard a loud plop hit my laptop keyboard, followed by the scurry of little feet running across the keyboard, stop and I see her dip her head and begin to pry a key off the keyboard.

I love it when birds get into things they are not suppose to. Great picture of Venus by the way..so cute.

Venus looks like she had big plans for her spoon, the keyboard was just collateral damage! Gee, Mom, she surely meant no harm. She's a pretty character, thanks for sharing.

Do you have one of those plastic keyboard covers installed? Worth the price to spare your keys being removed - they are annoying difficult to fix on modern laptops!

Bet Venus was planning to use the spoon handle to assist with keyboard destruction!

Love these pics of Venus! Especially the first one. She looks so determined! Hahaha! Such a character.

The vet tech asked me if she ever holds her food with her foot to eat and She never have, Buddy does. This is the first time I saw her hold something with her foot. The VT said Ekkies don't use their feet to hold things. What do you think? I love her holding the spoon and she's a spoon thief lol!

I've heard that about ekkies, too, but of the three I've had, that was only true of Bixby. Jolly grabs food with his feet rather regularly, and Maya does it all the time! And I love watching her do so. Her little foot hands are so dexterous and precise with their movements. Lol!

I've also heard this statement that "they don't use their feet", which when I just had Gizmo, I thought he was just strange, as he always uses his feet with large pieces of food, or to turn something around, like a toy. When I got Pebbles, she was the same, so I'm wondering if it's just an urban myth??

I just did a short video with a couple of pieces of apple, to show Pebbles, then Pebbles and Gizmo happily using their foot to hold the piece of Apple, and then eat small pieces off.

To be honest, when I first heard they didn't use their feet, it seemed very strange to me, I would have thought this would have been an advantage in the wild, and can see no reason they wouldn't do this (if food was scarce, I would think they would want to make sure they get every last bit)??
