right so im thinking of getting a African gray (Congo) i have want one for AGES!!!! and i think now is the right time to get one.
I no nearly EVERYTHING about them but...:
1,how do they get on with cockatiels?
2,what would be the ideal cage size?
3,male or female
I would not have it wings clipped he would go outside have fresh fruit and veg play stand built for him/her basically just like my tiels i can spend nearly all day with it and he would be LOVED to bits!!!!! so what do you think!!! :D:D:D

In my experiences Greys tend to be a jealous bird, and could kill your 'tiels. I wouldn't let them out together at the same time. The BARE minimum is 24x24x36 (HIGHLY recommended you get larger, the larger the better!), with bar spacing 3/4-1", don't skimp on bar spacing many birds die from hanging themselves  Males and females are equal in talking abilities, and in pet quality so it is your choice. Hope I helped! Here I advise you read this site

Species profiles, comparison charts, price lists, care...great site ;) good luck!

thanx you helped a lot I already have been offered a grey cage bye a friend ill check what size it is if its to small ill get a bigger one.
I don't plan to let them out at the same time unsupervised but it depends on the birds.
I was thinking of getting a male as I only have females and would love to own a male bird to but that doesn't bother me much! :)

My CAG would love to kill my tiels. So I only let them outside under my supervision. I think that gender doesn't matter. Some people say that female CAG's will bound to male human and vise versa, but my parrot proved it wrong. Other then that it's a very funny and clever bird and you'll enjoy it.
