Congo African grey, Illiger's macaw
Hi,
My Illiger's macaw usually makes all her feathers dirty, and cleaning her every time is quite hard, since she doesn't like that.. so I invented to parrot napkin! :D

Now that is just too friggin' adorable!!! :d

 I think I need one with wrap-around splash shields! If I don't get to Mango , and wipe his beak, before he leaves his dinner plate, he slings food everywhere!:p

Looks like he's dressed for front row seats at a Gallagher show! NICE!

Now THAT is adorable:D What a great idea for a messy eater. I like how the bib has to be double sided to protect the back as well as the front;)

I really need to wrestle one of those on Kiwi when he eats berries!

ahh, good job, and with a BIB!
I have often wondered what it would be like to wipe my hands on iron bars... ughh
A small towel wrapped around a short post would make a great beak WyPeR Yea?

i feel like my bird's human napkin. he wipes his beak on my hand, my face, my nice pants
that made my day, such a cutie. I have wanted an illiger's or yellow collared macaw for a while, congratulations on yours :)

With my birds?

Cool shredder toy, but I thought we were gonna eat first... :D

That might be the cutest thing I've ever seen!! I actually saved the image haha!!;)

That has got to be the most adorable picture I have seen in a long time. Such a robust appetite she has! What a good eater she is! Fluffing up the head while anticipating that next beakful of delicious hand rearing formula!

My eyes watered with the over abundance cuteness factor of the picture.

I had a Illiger's macaw myself and just LOVED the species. Diego was co-parented so he was REALLY totally weaned when I took him home. After he came home I only spend a couple of days hand feeding him using a spoon to get them though the "adjustment" period but he never was really thrilled with the hand feedings and since he was maintaining weight I stopped after a couple of days. Diego was the only baby I had that did not really take hand feedings from me.

Enjoy the bonding time as it will go by fast. I love the parrot napkin idea and wish I knew of it when I was hand feeding Valentino. The bigger the parrot the bigger the mess. LOL
