The more you do for your bird the more it wants? No winning.

So I take it that the more you do for your bird, like take it places, feed it etc. The more it wants?

My bird has gotten so bad that as soon as I wake her in the morning she starts begging and screaming to be taken someplace else. Then she is usually happy for a while until she wants to go someplace else again.

I was away for 4 months and she didn't act like this with my father who generally doesn't handle her. But now that I'm back she expects me to do everything for her.

There really is no winning here, the more you spoil the bird the more they seem to want and expect. If they don't get what they want then they scream and whine.

Spoiled bird syndrome.

They need discipline too.

I agree, this is a discipline (or lack thereof) problem. She's just like a toddler throwing a tantrum. If a child threw a tantrum when you said "no", would you still give in and give them what they wanted? Let her 'cry' herself out next time (and the time after that and the time after that, as long as it takes to learn that some things are privileges/treats and she can't always get what she wants). Bad behavior should never be rewarded, nor should a bird ever be allowed to "win" the argument. It's your patience vs. their determination. Mine tests my patience every once in a while and it yields him less than favorable results. He knows this. He is generally very well behaved because he KNOWS what standard of behavior is expected, and that when he is a good boy he gets to do fun things, eat yummy food and gets lots of attention.
