So after impatiently waiting, I received my order of perches and toys. :)
I remember seeing someone ask for a photo of what packages received from mysafebirdstore.com looked like since someone said they're cute and personalized, so I added a picture of the packages that were inside the box I received today. (It took allot for me to remember to take a picture before tearing them open! Hehe)
So now Yoshi has plenty of play things and perches, and some extra! I'm still waiting on two perches from Amazon so I'll have to decide what stays and what goes for now. But atleast I have more for back-up when it's time to swap out toys and clean perches. :)
Let me know if you think it's too crowded.. he doesn't seem to mind getting up on his new setup, even though he's never taken an interest to toys. I'll probably end up shoving treats in them to encourage him. (Don't mind the toy you see next to him, I just haven't put a metal clasp on it yet. I was just hanging things up for good measure on what I wanted where.)

What a wonderful size cage for him! It isn't crowded at all. I hope he starts playing and discovers the joy of being a birdie destruction crew :)

It isn't crowded at all. You should see Percy's cage... :54:

Yoshi looks like his 'diggin' his digs' ;)

Haha thanks guys! :) I'm probably going to move one of the rope perches a little bit lower, so I have room to hang a rope-ring perch up there. And then once my conures get their bigger cage they can get some of the smaller toys and the smaller rope perch. :) A late christmas for the birdies hehe.

i got that toy next to him as well,it's their favorite here.
He is going to have a blast with that!

Lucky bird! I like to make a 'wall' of hanging toys in one part of the cage. That way when the bird is feeling tired, or shy, he can have a 'private' area to hide behind. Also, this leaves an open area in the cage for the times the bird wants to stretch and flap his wings.

Give him some time he will get it.;) I play with the toys in front of them don't know if this helps or not but I think it does.

By the way how long does it take you to eat the candy they send for the humans, not long for me!:D

Pregnant and not craving sweets? Lucky you, when I was carrying my son if I didn't have a Snickers almost daily I was certain I would die!

Yeah, weird right? It's one of those things that I'm NOT craving. But chocolate milk doesn't last very long at the apartment anymore.. hahaha.

Looks amazing!!!! Yoshi is one lucky guy. As for the candy, whenever I get my package I sigh knowing there will be chocolate in there that I have to pass on to my youngest son as I don't eat sugar but sure would love to.
