1 Yellow Sided Green Cheek Conure: Cody <3
Ever since I got Cody, I've always eaten with him out. Sure, he'd beg me for food or try to get to my plate, but I was always one step ahead of him. However, now he's flighted and flying around. I'm sitting there, trying to enjoy a nice Ramen soup (luckily it was cooled off a bit), and he flies into my bowl! Feet and all, and he just looks up at me from on top of the noodles like, "What?". I just laughed, told him he's lost his privilege, and made another soup. This time with Cody tucked away. :p

Sometimes don't you wish you had cameras rolling at all times?

Jade did that the other day...except with hash browns and she landed on the hot pan! We freaked out, but she didn't understand what the fuss was about.

lol, you're right! The funny thing is, I wasn't mad at all. I just started cracking up. If you could have seen his face! :D

That would have freaked me out too! I think parrots must spend their entire lives trying to figure us silly humans out. :p

LOL, that happened with my keet once and pizza. She flew right into the sauce, I had to give her a special birdie bath to wash all of the sauce of her :D

Levi flew into a cup of lukewarm herbal tea...and then had the nerve to sputter angrily at me, like it was my fault! Well, I suppose it was....

lol, yeah, I suppose it was really my fault too. :p We all know if it's something to get into, they'll find a way eventually! And lol, Aussie Ben, birdie soup does sound exquisite! And he really is such a character! I love him! :D I still find it scary, as Cody is my first parrot, how close you get to them. They're like your kids!

Those ramen noodles look very much like little worms, don't they? Thank goodness none of the birds that flew into food or tea or sauce or whatever got hurt!

lol so cute, my Hiro does that to me all the time, if you don't want to share what you are eating in my house Hiro better be in his cage because he loves to land on our plates and sample what we are eating. Just this morning I had to distract him with my toast (which he loves) just to keep him out of my oatmeal.

and I thought cats were the worst beggars of table food. I once had 3 of my cats pull a raid on a smoked pork shoulder that was foiled and cooling. they got about 3/4lb of it and had a picnic under the bed. ok I spoiled them rotten with food and love.
