That one thing

So what's that one thing your bird(s) does that really tugs at your heart-strings? Of course there are so many things every day from each bird that make us laugh or sigh or whatever, but there's that favorite one thing...so I'll start it off....
Nika is a clingy, lovable Velcro bird who wants to be with me every second, but there's this thing she does that melts my heart. When we're outside and she has to be in her cage or carrier she still wants contact so I'll put my finger on her bar and she'll hold my finger with one of her hands, like we're holding hands lol! Also when we're just relaxing she likes to hold my finger. It's so sweet, innocent and trusting I get a surge of protectiveness toward her. . I love my boys, but this is my little girl!

I'd have to say Halo by far is my favourite out of all my birds. she just melts my heart like no other. she gives me kisses every time I get her out of the cage, but the funny thing she does is she runs her beak over the bridge of my nose, up and down, up and down, it tickles alot!....she does it everyday, and I have no idea why, but it's a quirky little thing I love about her.

Kali and Crimson, those are really sweet! I 'awwed' reading them.

Hmmm if I could choose one, it is when it's time for me to put Boomer to bed. He knows it is time when I start singing his Night-Night song, so he burrows deep down into my shirt and plasters himself against my chest. To buy him some more time, he will start saying incoherent words non stop. It buys him 5-10 minutes depending on his performance.

For Kenji it's after I get out of the shower and I'm allowed to touch him, he apparently thinks I'm a much better person when my hair is wet LOL If I tried this any other time I'd be bitten!

Kalidasa, that's just such a sweet gesture. Rosie has convinced me that our next bird should be a galah. I'm in love with her adorableness! Aww, all these sweet things they do.

Mine screech when they hear my car pull up the driveway after work. I can hear one screaming "Trixie! Trixie!" and the other one cackling over and over again. You can hear it from outside my house. Cute, cute, cute.

For me it is when Ruby plays tea party with my Neice's daughters. I babysit them one Saturday a month, 2 girls that are 2 and 6. They will set up their little tea set and then they take Ruby off her play stand and place her scale perch at the place they set for her at the table. Ruby will pick up the tiny cup by the handle and pretend to drink tea with the girls. Ruby will then say Yummm after she takes a pretend sip, it is the cutest thing to me. Ruby is so gentle with the girls and loves to play with them.

Fwew I can only think of two things. She gives the cutest cuddles! When I leave she calls Mammie Mammie! She can only have a bath if Im with her. And when its bed time story time, she always watches and listens to what the book says! Ok so I lied 4 things that make me melt!
