Thanks so much, everyone, you really made my day (and probably week, month, etc!).

I was a teacher for 19 years and miss it a lot. So if anything I've posted has helped anyone, that makes me feel really good

If it weren't for Pete, I may not have realized there were parrot forums. I was with my conures so long I knew them like the back of my hand. Then I got Pete and realized I was going to have questions concerning him and wondered if there were forums for birds. I'm really glad I found this forum because I feel so at home on here! I thought, hmm, I've learned all about maintaining and repairing my motorcycles and tractors from forums, and people answer me right away and help, so I bet I would find the same on a bird forum.

I also love sharing and reading stories about my birds and the rest of your birds. My friends and family aren't so interested! I'm so glad to have met like minded people.

And if it weren't for this forum, I wouldn't have Merlin. She's such a little doll!
