If you right click and get the image URL (Chrome - Right click image and copy image url | Internet Explorer - Right click, go down to properties, it's the URL), you can then paste the image URL (most times it ends in JPG, PNG, GIF or another image format) in-between two image tags and it'll work if you want the image to appear within a post!

Monica that is exactly what I am trying to do! I'm on a MacBook so I am trying to figure it out... ugh

I haven't the slightest idea on how to get an image URL using a MAC!!! So I'm of on help there! Sorry though!

I am so confused! I think I have done what I am supposed to and it just keeps coming up with a link! Am I supposed to be pasting into the box or somewhere else?

You need to get the URL of the image and put it into tags. You can either type out the IMG tags (see what I did in the first post - blue text, the IMG tags are in bold) or click on the tiny picture of the mountains with a "sun"

and put the text in the little box that comes up.

do u have to wait for images to be reviewed before they sow up?

no... I had to

1. up load the picture to flicker

2. copy the url

3. click on manage attachments below

4. paste the url into the upload url box

5. click on upload

Zaso - the address you pasted is where it is on your own computer. You need to upload it to the internet for it to be available to everyone. You can use Flickr like Chelle, but you can upload to this very forum too.

allows you to upload an image directly into the post from your computer or the internet.



We do have a photo gallery where you can upload images, and you can also create your own albums which are view-able through your profile.




It is otherwise recommended to get a free account at an image hosting website (i.e. Photobucket or Flickr) and upload your images there, then direct link the images here. Be sure to use the image URL and not the page URL.
